Council Highlights - November 5, 2025

Wyoming, ON – At its regular meeting on Wednesday, November 5, Lambton County Council:

• Heard presentations from:
  • Melissa Fitzpatrick, General Manager, Social Services and Ian Hanney, Manager, Homelessness Prevention and Social Planning, with an update regarding the Out of the Cold Overflow Shelter.
  • Dr. Karalyn Dueck, Medical Officer of Health, regarding the details of Lambton Public Health’s 2025-2026 Respiratory Season Preparation.
• Received an update report regarding the Out of the Cold Overflow Shelter.
• Requested that additional funds be presented as part of the 2026 Budget deliberations to fund the replacement of the Pulse Creek Bridge.
• Endorsed the 2025-2026 Winter Operations Plan.
• Accepted the Museums, Gallery and Archives collections management report for August 2025.

Council will next meet at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The meeting will begin with a Closed Session, if necessary, followed immediately by the Open Session.
