Homelessness Prevention

In May 2025, Lambton County Council reaffirmed its commitment to long-term solutions for homelessness by publicly endorsing making affordable and supportive housing and shelter the number one priority of County Council. The Be Part of the Solution campaign calls on our community to shift the conversation on homelessness toward solutions because everyone has a role to play.

Lambton County's 10 Year Housing and Homelessness Plan, 2026 frames the planning and delivery of housing and homelessness supports within the community. The plan is guided by the vision that every person has an affordable, suitable and adequate home to provide the foundation to secure employment, raise a family and build strong communities.
