Severe Weather Alerting

App-Based Notifications

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is the authority for publishing and distributing severe weather notices in Canada.

Download ECCC's WeatherCAN app from the Google Play or Apple iTunes store and gain access to:

• Advisories, Watches, and Warnings, issued by ECCC
• Current conditions
• Local forecasts
• Weather Radar

Customizable locations allow you to select which regions in Canada you wish to be alerted about.

E-Mail Notifications

ECCC also invites email users to register for different types of weather alerts impacting locations across Canada.
