Ontario Works

Ontario Works (OW) supports people in achieving increased stability and moving towards self-sufficiency. This includes providing financial assistance for food, shelter, and other basic needs along with certain health and stability related benefits. OW staff develop individualized plans for clients that are designed to meet their needs, increase readiness to explore employment services, and reach their goals.

OW staff also work with employment service providers, including the Lambton Works Centre, to support people from across the community to access employment readiness resources and link them to employment opportunities.
