Creative County Grant Program launches 2027 intake

Wyoming, ON - Beginning Thursday, October 1, Lambton's Creative County Grant Program will be receiving funding applications for arts, culture and heritage initiatives occurring in Lambton County in 2027.

The Creative County Grant Program invests in new and innovative projects that build cultural capacity, strengthen the creative community, and enrich the quality of life of all residents. Organizers of new or expanding initiatives are encouraged to apply online for funding to cover up to 50 percent of project costs.

"Each year, we see applicants bring forward fresh, innovative ideas that enhance Lambton’s cultural landscape,” said Tracey Kingston, Chair of the Creative County Committee. “These grants provide the spark that helps new endeavors grow and existing programs expand, ensuring arts, culture, and heritage initiatives remain strong and accessible to all."

Applications for the Creative County Grant Program will be accepted online only at lambtononline.ca/creativecounty starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The application period will close on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The County of Lambton has allocated a budget of $75,000 in available funding for the 2026 program year.

In 2026, the Committee approved 21 projects for funding support, representing an investment of $77,665 in the community.
