Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Wednesday, March 3 to discuss updates to the current COVID-19 situation. The group will meet again on Wednesday next week to discuss new developments and planning requirements.
Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force Update - March 2, 2021Point Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force met earlier today to discuss updates to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan in Lambton County. Here are some highlights from the meeting:
As previously reported, Lambton County received its first shipment of Pfizer vaccines on February 22 (3500 doses).
Lambton Public Health Participating in Provincial Vaccine Booking System PilotPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is happy to report that it is one of six Ontario Public Health Units participating in a pilot of a new online Provincial Immunization Booking System.
Starting today, LPH is inviting all members of the County’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to test components of the new online system by booking their vaccination appointments.

Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force Update – February 23Point Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force met Tuesday, February 23 to discuss updates to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan in Lambton County.
At this meeting, the Task Force:
- Heard the first shipment of Pfizer vaccines arrived in Lambton County on Monday, February 22 (3500 doses).

Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force Update – February 18, 2021Point Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force met Thursday, February 18 to discuss updates to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan in Lambton County.
At this meeting, the Task Force:
- Heard the Lambton Immunization Task Force will receive three shipments of COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) in the next two weeks.

First Round of COVID-19 Immunizations CompletePoint Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force is happy to report the first doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to every long-term care and high risk retirement home resident in Lambton County who wanted one. First doses of the Moderna vaccine were also given to Indigenous Elder Care home residents on Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, and Walpole Island First Nation.
