Province of Ontario Does Not Permit Lambton County to Reopen in Stage 2Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health learned of the proposed plan from the Province today to regionalize the reopening of some services in communities as part of Stage 2, beginning Friday, June 12, 2020.
Lambton County has been identified by the province as a border region that will not progress to Stage 2 at this time.

Lambton County Library Curbside Pickup Services Begins June 8Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Library has finalized its plans to offer a contactless curbside pickup service at 13 of its locations and will begin offering the service on Monday, June 8, 2020. Libraries in Alvinston, Bright's Grove, Corunna, Florence, Forest, Mallroad, Oil Springs, Petrolia, Point Edward, Sombra, Thedford, Watford and Wyoming have established temporary hours of operation to provide the new contactless service to the community.

Staff Member Tests Positive for COVID-19 Virus at Lambton Meadowview Villa - May 25, 2020Petrolia, ON - The administration team of Lambton Meadowview Villa learned today that a staff member has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
People living in the long-term care home and their families were notified of the positive case today, and informed that as a result, Lambton Public Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the Home.

Lambton County Library Accepting Returned Library Materials While Preparing for Curbside PickupWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library is finalizing its plans to offer contactless curbside pickup service in June, while all locations remain closed to the public under provincial order. The first step in returning to service delivery is to request that patrons return any outstanding library materials to drop boxes at any Lambton County Library location.
