Emergency Control Group Update – December 15, 2021
Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group (CECG) met Wednesday, December 15 to discuss updates to the current COVID-19 situation.
At this meeting, the Emergency Control Group:
- Heard that 207,314 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Lambton County, as of Wednesday, December 15.
LPH Opens COVID-19 Vaccine Registration for Children in Lambton CountyPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH), working in partnership with the Sarnia Lambton Ontario Health Team (SL-OHT), and local health-care providers will open registration for vaccinations to children aged 5 to 11 years old on Tuesday, November 23. This follows approval from Health Canada and recommendations from the Government of Ontario.

At this meeting, the Emergency Control Group:
- Heard that 192,708 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Lambton County, as of Wednesday, November 10.
COVID-19 Compliance Blitz in Lambton County Deemed a SuccessPoint Edward, ON – Last week, Provincial offences officers from across several government ministries in coordination with Lambton Public Health (LPH) and the City of Sarnia paid visits to a number of local Lambton County restaurants, recreational facilities and other businesses where patrons are required to provide proof of vaccination prior to entry.
“The three day enforcement campaign, which ran from November 4 to 6, garnered 164 inspections and five charges,” said Mike Gorgey, Manager of Health.
Lambton Public Health Expands COVID-19 Third Dose EligibilityPoint Edward, ON – Based on guidance from the Province of Ontario, Lambton Public Health (LPH) is expanding eligibility for third doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to:
