To date, a total of 143,613 total doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to residents of Lambton County by public health, hospitals, primary care and pharmacies.

Lambton Public Health Opens COVID-19 Vaccine Standby ListPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is making it easier for residents to receive their first or second dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at Lambton County clinics with the introduction of a new Vaccine Standby List.

Second Dose Registration Expands to Individuals 12 Years of Age and OlderPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is expanding second dose eligibility to youth 12-17 years of age who received their first dose of Pfizer at least 28 days ago (as per the recommended minimum interval). This move is in alignment with the Government of Ontario who announced the accelerated eligibility for this group on Friday (July 2) in order to provide them with a strong level of protection against COVID-19 and its variants, and support a safe return to school this fall.

Second Dose Registration Open to Individuals 18 Years of Age and OlderPoint Edward, ON – All individuals 18 years of age and older who received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 28 days ago (as per the recommended minimum interval) are eligible to book second dose vaccination appointments.

Community Support Drives Expansion of COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout to Second High-Output ClinicSarnia, ON – Supported by a $75,000 donation from Enbridge, Lambton County's COVID-19 vaccine rollout is expanding its capacity to the Clearwater Arena, in Sarnia.
The second high-output immunization clinic was made possible by the generous donation from Enbridge, Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment, and Sustainability’s (BASES) ongoing commitment to the 'hockey hub' model in Lambton, as well as the contributions of many local community partners and the hard work of staff from Lambton Public.

Second Dose Strategy – Vaccine InterchangeabilityPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is advising all individuals who have booked appointments for COVID-19 vaccines, that effective June 21, they are unable to guarantee that individuals will receive a particular vaccine brand for either their first or second dose. Recent vaccine shipment delays reinforce the need for individuals to get the first vaccine available, either as their first or second dose.
