North Lambton Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show returns to Lambton Heritage MuseumGrand Bend, ON – Lambton Heritage Museum is pleased to announce the return of another vibrant display from the bi-annual North Lambton Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show.
Established in 1989, the North Lambton Quilters’ Guild has been active for over 35 years and has been exhibiting their work at Lambton Heritage Museum for almost 20 years.

Florence Library hours set to increase following community inputWyoming, ON – After consulting the residents of Dawn-Euphemia through a survey, Lambton County Library will adjust the hours of operation at Florence Library beginning September 1, 2025.
Once the changes are implemented, Florence Library’s hours of operation will double, and the library will be open on two additional days of the week.

Council Highlights - June 4, 2025Wyoming, ON – At its regular meeting on Wednesday, June 4, Lambton County Council:
- Heard a presentation from Graham Cubitt, President, Flourish Affordable Housing Communities, and Natasha Thuemler, Regional Director, Indwell Community Homes, regarding the progress of supportive and affordable housing initiatives in Lambton County.
- Endorsed a resolution from the Regional Municipality of Halton regarding provincial and federal collaboration and ensuring municipalities have access to fully funded.

County donates vacant land for Indwell supportive housing programSarnia, ON – The County of Lambton has agreed to donate a piece of vacant land on George Street in Sarnia to Indwell Community Homes for Indwell’s development of supportive housing in Lambton County.

Action Steps for Special Air Quality Statement due to Wildfire SmokePoint Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health is encouraging residents to take the proper precautions to protect their health as a Special Air Quality Statement has been issued for Sarnia-Lambton by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and Environment and Climate Change Canada in response to wildfire smoke from forest fires in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and northern Ontario.
Wildfire smoke is expected to affect the area late this evening into the overnight hours and is expected to.

Beach water quality monitoring begins on Monday, June 2Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health will begin the 2025 beach water quality monitoring program on Monday, June 2 at public beaches scheduled for monitoring across Lambton County.
Predictive beach-water sampling and water sample analysis will be used to determine if beaches are safe to access.
