Provincial Rollout of COVID-19 Vaccine Booster for Teens 12-17Point Edward, ON – Starting Friday, February 18, 2022, Ontario is expanding booster dose eligibility to youth aged 12 to 17. The recommended interval is six months (168 days) after a second dose for this age group.
COVID-19 Clinic Cancellation in Florence Due to Inclement WeatherPoint Edward, ON – Due to inclement weather and out of an abundance of caution for residents and staff, Lambton Public Health (LPH) is cancelling the COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Florence and District Community Centre, scheduled for today, February 17, 2022.
At this time, the scheduled COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Wyoming Fairgrounds will proceed to operate through the morning.

Cold Weather Alert Issued for Lambton County - February 4, 2022Point Edward, ON - Lambton County’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a COLD WEATHER ALERT for the region based on the latest forecast from Environment Canada predicting the temperature to meet the threshold of -15°C overnight.
The alert is expected to remain in effect until Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Lambton County Library eliminates fines for overdue materialsWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library will join hundreds of libraries across North America and will stop charging fines on overdue library materials starting March 1, 2022.
Fines will stop accruing and all existing fines will be removed from library card holder accounts on March 1.
