Point Edward Library temporarily closing for maintenance workWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library is advising the public that Point Edward Library will temporarily close starting Saturday, October 22, 2022 to complete needed maintenance work including new paint throughout the library. The closure is expected to last until Sunday, October 30, 2022 with an anticipated reopening date of Monday, October 31, 2022.

Local Teens’ Work Showcased in Upcoming Photography Exhibition (1)Wyoming, ON – More than 20 local teens who participated in the Take Your Shot: Teen Photo Contest organized by Lambton County Library and the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery will have their photographs on display this summer.
This year’s contest was inspired by the theme Feels Like Home and asked teens from across Lambton County to submit photos that encapsulated the feeling of home through things, places, people or pets that remind them of home or their hometowns.

Lambton County Library launches annual Summer Reading ProgramWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library cardholders can blast off into the 2022 Summer Reading Program starting Monday, July 4. The Summer Reading Program is a six week long initiative that promotes reading and the maintenance of literacy skills for children who are on summer break from school, and to encourage reading as a hobby amongst adults.

Petrolia, ON – Local government officials and visitors to Petrolia Library celebrated its recent renovation today by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at the 119-year-old historic train station in downtown Petrolia.
Petrolia Library reopened on May 7 following a five-week closure that allowed the County of Lambton and the Town of Petrolia to undertake.

Rhythms of Lambton concert series ends on a high noteWyoming, ON – The nine-week Rhythms of Lambton concert series organized by Lambton County Library completed its last performance last night with the Sarnia Legion Pipe Band.
The free series, which celebrated the rich music culture in Lambton County, featured nine different musical acts including Screeched Inn, Forest Excelsior Band, Larry Towell & Mike Stevens, Great Lakes Secondary School Concert, Choir and Jazz Bands, Bluewater Chordsmen, Relic, The Brothers Wilde, Lambton Concert Band.
