Library launches fall seminars in partnership with the SLEP and the BECWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library has partnered with the Business Enterprise Centre and the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership to provide Entrepreneurship 101 seminars that focus on the free services available to small businesses and entrepreneurs in Lambton County.
“If you have ever thought about starting your own business but don't know where to start, or are looking for guidance, this seminar is for you,” says Andrea Basra, Lambton County Library’s Public Services Coordinator for Adult Programs.

Lambton County Library Reopens Remaining Nine LocationsWyoming, ON – Continuing its efforts to resume library services as part of Step 3 of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen, Lambton County Library will reopen nine additional sites next month, making all 25 library locations open to the public beginning the week of September 7, 2021.
The remaining nine locations will join the other sites in offering: curbside pickup service, in-person browsing as capacity limits allow and scheduled computer use, wi-fi use and academic research.

Lambton County Library Launches its Annual Summer Reading ProgramWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library is calling on cardholders to suit up for the 2021 Summer Reading Program, a six week long initiative that promotes reading and the maintenance of literacy skills for children who are on summer break from school, and to encourage reading as a hobby amongst adults.

Lambton County Library helps provide access to printed COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent formsWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library is partnering with Lambton Public Health to offer printed copies of the COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent form for anyone who does not have access to a printer. Completing this form before a scheduled vaccine appointment helps create a faster, more efficient experience at the immunization clinic.

Curbside Pickup at Sarnia Library to temporarily relocate over the weekendWyoming, ON – The Sarnia Library is temporarily relocating its contactless curbside pickup service from Christina Street South to Wellington Street from Friday, February 26, 2021 to Sunday, February 28, 2021 to accommodate construction work happening on Christina Street.
Lambton County Library was advised that Christina Street will be closed between Davis Street and Wellington Street throughout the weekend for a crane lift at the Canada Post office.

Borrow an Ontario Parks pass from Lambton County LibraryWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library is now offering Seasonal Day-Use Permits for Ontario Parks for loan to its cardholders. The seasonal day-use permits will provide borrowers with unlimited daily vehicle entry for one vehicle plus all its passengers at any Ontario Provincial Park, including the Pinery Provincial Park.

Lambton County Library temporarily closes two locations for renovationsWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library is temporarily closing Alvinston Library and Corunna Library for a period of two to three weeks in order to complete scheduled renovations. Corunna Library will be closed effective Monday, January 25, 2021 and Alvinston Library will be closed effective Monday, February 1, 2021.
