From October 18 to 24, 2026, Lambton County Library will join public libraries across Ontario in celebrating Ontario Public Library Week. This annual event recognizes libraries as essential community spaces that support learning, connection, and well-being.
Lambton County Library is celebrating Culture Days with a series of free events inviting the community to explore local history, literature, music, storytelling, and the outdoors.
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts, culture, and heritage that brings communities together through free experiences. This year, Lambton County Library is offering a variety of events throughout September and into early October.

The County of Lambton and the Township of Warwick are starting a second phase of renovations at Watford Library this August which will result in accessibility improvements, modernize the library’s spaces, and support the long-term use of the historic Carnegie building.
Bright’s Grove Library will temporarily close beginning Saturday, June 27, 2026 to accommodate the construction of a significant addition onto the building as part of the City of Sarnia’s Bright’s Grove Library Expansion. The closure is expected to last 14 months, subject to the construction schedule
Lambton County Library's annual Summer Reading Challenge is set to launch on Saturday, June 20, with a free event at Victoria Park in Petrolia from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This year's theme, "Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead," celebrates science, technology, engineering, art, and math with themed activities and programs for all ages.
Wyoming, ON – After piloting a small Library by Mail service since 2024, Lambton County Library is fully launching the service to all library card holders with an accessible category membership.
The Library by Mail service allows eligible cardholders to borrow books in regular print, large print, multilingual, and ESL (English as a Second Language) learning formats, as well as audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines, all delivered to the library cardholder’s mailbox.
Wyoming, ON— The Teen Photo Contest, presented by Lambton County Library, Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery (JNAAG), and Lambton College, is now open for submissions. This year’s theme, Focus: B&W, invites teens to create and submit black-and-white photographs for the juried contest.
Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library has selected Rainbow Swiss Chard for this year’s One Seed Lambton program. Each year, One Seed Lambton provides free seeds and related library programs and resources to help anyone learn how to garden to produce food.
