Lambton Cultural Services Getting Ready to Reopen Safely
Wyoming, ON - Lambton County is preparing for limited public access and additional services at its libraries, museums, gallery and archives starting in September.
Since closing in March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, cultural services staff have been working behind the scenes to offer online access to library collections, enhance online digital engagement, and adapt service to offer contactless curbside pickup.

Lambton County Library Curbside Pickup Services Begins June 8Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Library has finalized its plans to offer a contactless curbside pickup service at 13 of its locations and will begin offering the service on Monday, June 8, 2020. Libraries in Alvinston, Bright's Grove, Corunna, Florence, Forest, Mallroad, Oil Springs, Petrolia, Point Edward, Sombra, Thedford, Watford and Wyoming have established temporary hours of operation to provide the new contactless service to the community.

Lambton County Cultural Facilities Closed Indefinitely in Response to COVID-19Wyoming, ON - In response to the ongoing public health effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, cultural facilities that are operated by the County of Lambton initially scheduled to re-open on April 6, 2020 will remain closed indefinitely.
Cultural facilities that will remain closed include all Lambton County Library locations (including the Sarnia Library Theatre), Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery, Lambton County Archives, Lambton Heritage Museum and Oil Museum of Canada.

While libraries remain closed until further notice due to efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Library’s Wi-Fi extends beyond the walls of several of its buildings, providing public access in many facilities' parking lot areas.
