Mallroad Library prepares for closure to move to new Clearwater LibraryWyoming, ON – Mallroad Library is set to close its doors on October 31, 2023, so that plans can progress to open a new library on the second floor of Clearwater Arena at 1400 Wellington Street in Sarnia in the New Year.
Library patrons will be able to return items to the book return bin only until November 9, 2023, and are then asked to use neighbouring libraries in downtown Sarnia, Bright’s Grove, and Point Edward.

Lambton County Library offers free events for Culture DaysWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library is celebrating Culture Days from September 22 to October 19 with several free programs.
“Culture Days is a nationwide initiative that brings together artists, community groups, and institutions to offer free arts and cultural experiences to the public,” said Vanitia Campbell, Public Services Coordinator – Youth Programs and Outreach with Lambton County Library.
Book Cover Design Contest winners announcedWyoming, ON – After reviewing 72 submissions from children aged 5 – 12, a panel of jurors have selected six winners in the Lambton County Library and Gallery in the Grove Book Cover Design Contest, held in recognition of the Gallery’s latest exhibit, CANSCAIP in the Grove: The Art of Picturebooks,which features artwork from the Canadian Society of Children’s Authors, Illustrators and Performers (CANSCAIP).
The contest winners will have their designs displayed at Gallery in the Grove’s exhibit.

Take Your Shot Teen Photo Contest names winners for 2023Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery and Lambton County Library have named the 14 teenagers who will have their photographs displayed in an upcoming exhibit, Humans of Lambton, opening August 4, 2023 at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery.
Over a three-month period, 91 submissions were received for the Take Your Shot Teen Photo Contest from teens located throughout Lambton County.
