Changes to Library Services During Ontario’s Stay-At-Home OrderWyoming, ON – In response to the state of emergency announced by the Province of Ontario on January 12, several changes will be made to Lambton County Library’s operations.
The Sarnia Library Theatre will be closed effective immediately and will remain closed until further notice.

Outbreaks Declared at Two WorkplacesPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is investigating outbreaks in two workplaces, both declared on January 16. LPH received the laboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test results that linked six staff to the first workplace and four staff to the second workplace.

Long-Term Care and Institutional Workplace Outbreaks Declared in SarniaPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is investigating outbreaks in a Long-Term Care home and an institutional workplace, both declared on January 15. LPH received the laboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test results for one staff member at Marshall Gowland Manor, a long-term care home in Sarnia, and four staff members at the Sarnia Jail.

Staff Member Tests Positive for COVID-19 Virus at Marshall Gowland ManorSarnia, ON - The administration team of Marshall Gowland Manor learned today that a staff member has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
People living in the long-term care home and their families were notified of the positive case today, and informed that as a result, Lambton Public Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the Home.

COVID-19 Vaccine Planning UnderwayPoint Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) is meeting formally with key stakeholders and other regular sub-groups twice a week to continue actively planning for COVID-19 vaccine implementation in Lambton County. A draft local COVID-19 Immunization Plan for Lambton County is in development and this plan will be shared broadly once finalized delivery dates are received from the Province.
