Library invites the community to participate in Valentine’s for Long-Term Care initiativeWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library invites the community to create cards for residents of the County of Lambton’s long-term care homes and participants in adult day programs as part of its annual Valentine's for Long-Term Care initiative.
In 2025, Lambton County Library delivered 670 Valentine’s cards to residents living at the County of Lambton’s three municipally operated long-term care homes, participants in the County’s four adult day programs, and members of the Mobile Library Service living.

Lambton County Library celebrates local student’s success in international Fiero Code contestWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library is proud to celebrate a young patron, Naina Patel, who earned second place worldwide in the 12 & Under category of the Fiero Code Light Quest competition. The international contest, held from October 1 to November 30, invited hundreds of young coders from libraries and schools around the globe to design a game—using Code Blocks—that restored light to “Planet Fiero.

Ukulele Kits now available to borrow at Lambton County LibraryWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library has added its first musical instrument to its Library of Things and library cardholders are now able to borrow ukuleles.
Each ukulele kit includes everything needed to start playing: a concert-sized ukulele, an electronic tuner, and a protective carrying case.

Lambton's 2026 Creative County Grant Program recipients announcedWyoming, ON - The Creative County Grant Program has approved 20 projects for funding for the 2026 program year, representing an investment of $75,165 in funding to support local arts, culture, and heritage initiatives.
The Committee received 40 requests for funding this year, amounting to over $239,000 in asks from community organizations and individuals.
