    Wyoming, ON – At its regular meeting on Wednesday, November 27, Lambton County Council:

    • Instructed staff to conclude commercial negotiations for a long-term lease (and option to purchase) for its facilities located at Bayside Centre, and to return to Council on February 5, 2020 with final documents for Council's review.

  • Vacancy tax rebate eliminated following 2019 tax year

    Wyoming, ON - At its meeting on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Lambton County Council eliminated the vacancy rebate for commercial and industrial property classes, effective the 2020 taxation year.

    As was discussed during the meeting, the County of Lambton is following measures that several other larger municipalities have taken with respect to the elimination of vacancy rebates.
