Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force Update – May 11, 2021Point Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force met Tuesday, May 11 to discuss updates to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan in Lambton County. Here are some highlights from the meeting:
To date, a total of 55,209 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered by Lambton Public Health (LPH), Bluewater Health, primary care and pharmacies.
Lambton Public Health Expands Eligibility for COVID-19 ImmunizationsPoint Edward, ON – In line with the Government of Ontario, Lambton Public Health (LPH) is expanding eligibility to book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment to a number of groups throughout this week.

Emergency Control Group Update – May 5, 2021Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Wednesday, May 5 to discuss updates to the current COVID-19 situation.
At this meeting, the Emergency Control Group:
- Heard that 52,257 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Lambton County, as of Wednesday, May 5.
Vaccine Registration Now Open to Individuals 50+Point Edward, ON – Due to a stable and reliable increase in vaccine supply, the Provincial Government is expanding booking eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination appointments to individuals 50 years of age and older (or those who are turning 50 in 2021) today.

Lambton Public Health Receives Grant to Support Older AdultsPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) has received a grant to continue to improve access to community services for individuals 55 years of age and older in Lambton County. These funds will be used within the community to better understand the needs of older adults and make it easier to access and use the health and social services already available in Lambton, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lambton Public Health Unveils a New Dedicated Vaccine Call CentrePoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is making improvements to its call systems with the creation of a new dedicated Vaccine Call Centre which will run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.
Vaccine Registration Now Open to Individuals 55+Point Edward, ON – Registration for vaccination appointments is now open to individuals 55 years of age and older (or those who are turning 55 in 2021) according to the Provincial Government.
Due to a predictable and increased vaccine supply from the Federal Government, the Province will be able to further expand delivery channels in the coming weeks to vaccinate more Ontarians faster.
