Lambton Public Health Searching for Dog That Bit ManPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 2:00pm on Sunday, December 8th around the Legacy Arena and baseball diamonds in Thedford.
The dog, described as large black and brown, possibly a German Shepard mix, was seen walking unattended on the street by the victim.

Mosquito pool tests positive for West Nile Virus - September 2019Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health's West Nile virus (WNV) surveillance program confirms mosquitos collected from a trap located in Petrolia on August 28th have tested positive for the virus.
This is the first positive result for the virus in Lambton County this year.

Lambton Public Health searching for dog that bit man (1)Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident around noon on Sunday, August 18 in the parking lot outside the convenience store at the corners of Trudeau and Confederation streets.
The dog, described as a black and tan German shepherd was leashed and with the owner at the time of the bite.
