COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines available for high-risk populationsPoint Edward, ON – Beginning today, eligible Lambton County residents can book appointments to receive the updated COVID-19 vaccine targeting the XBB 1.5 variant, as well as the annual influenza vaccine.

Blue-green algae suspected in Ausable RiverPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is advising that the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP) is investigating a possible blue-green algae bloom in the Ausable River, near the Grand Bend Yacht Club in Lambton Shores.
Samples were collected at the Grand Bend Yacht Club in the afternoon on October 3, 2023.
Humans of Lambton exhibition closing soonSarnia, ON – Time is running out to experience the Humans of Lambton exhibition at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery. The Creative County Grant Program invests in new and innovative projects that build cultural capacity, strengthen the creative community, and enrich the quality of life of all residents.
Lambton County Library closed for ThanksgivingWyoming, ON – All Lambton County Library locations and book return bins will be closed on Sunday, October 8 and Monday, October 9 for Thanksgiving. No items will be due on October 8 or October 9, as all due dates have been adjusted.
Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival 2023Grand Bend, ON – The annual Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival is returning to Lambton Heritage Museum on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15, 2023.
Over 65 vendors will be selling an array of handmade products including art and home décor, bath products and candles, clothing and apparel, food and beverage, jewelry, needlework and textiles, pottery, signs, and woodworking.
