Teen Photo Contest now openWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library and the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery are inviting submissions for the Take your Shot: Teen Photo Contest, an annual event open to teens ages 13 – 18 in Lambton County.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for emerging artists to build their resume and portfolio,” said Vanitia Campbell, Public Services Coordinator, Youth Programs & Outreach.

Lambton County Library Easter weekend closuresWyoming, ON – All Lambton County Library locations and book return bins will be closed on Friday, April 7, Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10 for Easter holidays.
Due dates on library items will be extended until April 11, 2023.

New addition to Library’s Active Living Lifestyle collectionWyoming, ON – Lambton County Library is now offering cardholders the opportunity to borrow walking poles for a seven-day loan period through the Library’s Active Living Lifestyle collection.
“These new walking pole kits will give borrowers a chance to try them out and use them while walking on trails, beaches, or even just the sidewalk,” said Kevin Coates, Public Services Coordinator, Collections.

The Stronger Together: Collaborating for a Vibrant Community summit brought together over 170 individuals from a variety of organizations related to housing, homelessness, and addictions.

Ask a Public Health Nurse continuing to expand across the CountyPoint Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) is continuing to expand its Ask a Public Health Nurse drop-in offerings throughout the county, with the re-opening of LPH’s main office as a drop-in site, giving parents and caregivers a chance to connect with a public health nurse and enhance their child’s growth.
The Ask a Public Health Nurse drop-in program is available at LPH’s Point Edward office as well as eight EarlyON locations across Lambton County and is open to parents and caregivers with.
