Noelle’s Gift is a community leader for the Student Nutrition ProgramPoint Edward, ON - Noelle's Gift Foundation has donated $65,000 to the Ontario Student Nutrition Program-Lambton (OSNP-Lambton) to support the cost of healthy food for students.
The Student Nutrition Program receives provincial base funding from the Ontario Student Nutrition Program of 12 cents per student per day.

Borrow an Ontario Parks pass from Lambton County LibraryWyoming, ON - Lambton County Library is now offering Seasonal Day-Use Permits for Ontario Parks for loan to its cardholders. The seasonal day-use permits will provide borrowers with unlimited daily vehicle entry for one vehicle plus all its passengers at any Ontario Provincial Park, including the Pinery Provincial Park.

Cold Weather Alert #2 Issued for Lambton CountyPoint Edward, ON - Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a COLD WEATHER ALERT for Lambton County based on the latest forecast from Environment Canada predicting the temperature to meet the threshold of -15°C overnight Tuesday.
The alert is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

First Round of COVID-19 Immunizations CompletePoint Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force is happy to report the first doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to every long-term care and high risk retirement home resident in Lambton County who wanted one. First doses of the Moderna vaccine were also given to Indigenous Elder Care home residents on Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, and Walpole Island First Nation.

Outbreaks Declared for Two Senior Living HomesPoint Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is investigating outbreaks at a Long Term Care and a Retirement Home, declared on February 12, 2021. LPH received the laboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test results for one staff member at Trillium Villa Long Term Care Community in Sarnia and one staff member at Landmark Village Retirement Home in Sarnia.

Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force Update – February 9Point Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force met Tuesday, February 9 to discuss updates to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan in Lambton County.
At this meeting, the Task Force:
- Heard that Lambton Public Health (LPH) received two small shipments of Moderna vaccine on Friday, February 5 and Monday, February 8, for a total of 700 additional doses.
